The Best Gift is You: Putting Yourself First

SOUTHINGTON – Making self-care a priority can be difficult for many people. However, self-care is important for physical, emotional and spiritual health. The free Lunch & Learn program, “The Best Gift is You: Putting Yourself First,” will be held Thursday, Dec. 19, noon to 1 p.m., at The Hospital of Central Connecticut, Bradley Memorial Campus, 81 Meriden Ave., Conference Room A. Topics will include the causes and symptoms of stress and different creative self-care strategies. Presenter will be Amina Weiland, resource coordinator, Hartford HealthCare Center for Healthy Aging, the program sponsor.
