Body Found Under Bleachers At A CT High School Field: Police

PLAINVILLE, CT — A body was found around 1:15 p.m. Saturday underneath the bleachers of the Plainville High School football field, WTNH-News 8 reports.

After the News 8 report, Plainville Police released a statement saying, "This is to put everybody's mind at ease. The police department is investigating the death of an adult that occurred at Plainville High School. The death is not suspicious, and the public is not in danger. There is no other information at this time."

The name of the adult victim has not yet been released.
