Bond Drastically Reduced in Southington Restraint Case

A man arrested on a second-degree unlawful restraint charge in Southington had his initial bond drastically reduced.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A man arrested on a second-degree unlawful restraint charge in Southington had his initial bond of $20,000 reduced to $2,000 after a court appearance last week, records show.

William Jones, 39, of New Britain, was arrested on Oct. 1 and appeared in court the next day.

He is also chargfed with disorderly conduct, according to records.
