Southington, CT - Cheryl Jankura (1947-2011) spent her entire 36-year teaching career in Southington. She was an Art teacher at Strong Elementary School and then the former Central Elementary when she transferred in the early 1980s to SHS, where she stayed until her retirement in 2005.

She no doubt would applaud Bread For Life's work in addressing the food gap that Southington students face during school vacation.
