Car Crashes into Pole in Southington on Monday
A section of road was closed while crews worked at the scene.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — A car took out a pole at the intersection of Marion Avenue and Mount Vernon Road on Monday morning, police said.
The crash took place at 8:15 a.m., police said.
Police said the pole was a Eversource guide pole so power never went out, police said.

A section of the road was blocked off while emergency crews worked at the scene to remove the fallen pole, police said.
