Car Skids Off I-691 in Southington
The crash on I-691 took place Wednesday afternoon and forced a lane closure, state police said.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — A car rolled off a section of Interstate-691 on Wednesday afternoon, forcing state police to shut down the left-hand lane.
State police said the crash took place at about 3:15 p.m.
At first, state police said they feared the entire westbound side of the highway would have to be closed, but then troopers managed to service the scene with only the left-hand lane closed, according to a Tweet.
