SOUTHINGTON, CT — A ticket for the popular CT Lottery Cash5 game bought in Southington turned into more than $100,000 in winnings.

An unnamed winner cashed in the ticket Tuesday. It was worth $100,002 in the pari-mutuel Cash 5 game.

The ticket was purchased at Sam's Quick Mart, located at 2201 Meriden Waterbury Turnpike in the Marion section of Southington.

Cash5 costs $1 per wager and players can add a kicker option for an additional 50 cents per wager to increase the chances of winning more often and at more prize levels.

Players fill in a Cash5 play slip by choosing fice different numbers from 1 to 35 or by opting for a quick pick. from the CT Lottery terminal.
