Center for Healthy Aging to conduct memory screenings on July 11

Free assessments July 11, 9:30-11a, Elmwood Senior Center, 1106 New Britain Ave. HHC Center for Healthy Aging. RSVP to 860.561.8180.

WEST HARTFORD – Hartford HealthCare Center for Healthy Aging is conducting free, confidential memory screenings on Thursday, July 11, 9:30 to 11 a.m., at Elmwood Senior Center, 1106 New Britain Ave. These confidential memory screenings average 10 minutes and consist of questions and tasks to assess memory. They do not diagnose any illness, but can indicate whether someone should follow up with a full medical exam. The memory screenings will be facilitated by Amina Weiland, CDP, CDCP, resource coordinator, with Hartford HealthCare Center for Healthy Aging, the screening sponsor.

Appointments are required. To schedule an appointment, call the senior center at 860.561.8180.
