Center for Healthy Aging hosts The Changing Brain for caregivers

Learn how our brains age and how we must adapt caregiving: free Center for Healthy Aging series begins May 9 in Plainville

PLAINVILLE – Strategies and information about the aging brain is geared toward caregivers of older adults at a free three-part series presented by Hartford HealthCare Center for Healthy Aging. “The Changing Brain: A Caregiving Affair” will be held Wednesdays, May 9 to 23, 6 to 8 p.m., Plainville Senior Center, 200 East St. Presenters will discuss brain health and brain illness; provide information on professional intervention; suggest practical caregiving and self-care strategies and tips; and more to remove the mystery of the aging brain.

Presenters are Michelle Wyman, LSW, CDP, and Patty O'Brian, CDP, dementia specialists, Hartford HealthCare Center for Healthy Aging, program sponsor. Participants are encouraged to attend all sessions.
