Chase Bank In Southington To Install Drive-Up ATM
The Southington PZC July 19 said 'yes' to a site plan modification that would allow construction of one at Queen Street site.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — A local bank on Queen Street will soon have a new, drive-up ATM after the town's planning and zoning commission approved a site plan change recently.
The PZC voted 7-0 July 19 to allow the Chase Bank branch at 885 Queen St. to install a drive-up ATM for motorists to do banking without having to leave their cars.
The drive-up ATM would be located in a parking lot near T.J. Maxx, according to meeting minutes.

As a result of the application, the shopping plaza's parking capacity at the site would be cut slightly from 893 spaces to 888, according to meeting minutes, with 691 spaces actually required by building codes.
The site plan is compliant with all regulations for setbacks, according to meeting minutes.
