A Naugatuck man has been charged with check fraud in Southington.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — A Naugatuck man has been charged with check fraud in Southington.
Southington police on Monday served a warrant on Chad Swenor, 29, of Nauguatuck, charging him with fourth-degree larceny and second-degree forgery.
The charges stemmed from a July incident during which Swenor allegedly cashed a fraudulent check in the amount of $1,825 at a local TD Bank Branch, police said.

He was held Monday on a $5,000 bond and was to appear in Bristol Superior Court on Tuesday, police said.
