Chick-fil-A, Smashburger, Aldi Possible For Southington Parcel
A new plaza could come to Queen Street.

SOUTHINGTON — Chick-fil-A, Smashburger and an Aldi market could be in line for a new Queen Street plaza at the site of a former Chinese restaurant and the adjacent Forestville Industrial Plating Co., the Record-Journal reported, citing town officials.
The land at 785 Queen St. used to be home to a factory and Chinese restaurant.
According to U.S. Environmental Protection Agency records, a lagoon on the property contained plating wastes and metal hydroxide sludge.
