Bryant University, Smithfield RI
- Matthew Steeves, class of 2019, from Southington, has been named to the President's List for the fall 2018 semester. The President's List is an academic distinction reserved for Bryant's highest achievers who earn a GPA of 4.0 or better for at least 12 semester hours of work.
- Bryant University is pleased to recognize nine Southington students who have been named to the fall 2018 Dean's List. They are Ryan Fryer, Harrison Garrett, Melissa Gurzenda, Meghan Mazzatto, Margaret Mellitt, Matthew Raymond, Samantha Sagnella, Matthew Steeves and Nicole White.

- Three Southington residents made the Dean's List at Rochester Institute of Technology for the 2018 fall semester: Michael Freeman, who is in the finance program; Tyler Czupryk, who is in the electrical engineering program; and Ellie Lefkovich, who is in the biomedical engineering program. Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.
Tufts University, Medford MA
- Tufts University recently announced the dean's list for the fall 2018 semester. Students from Southington earning dean's list honors are James Hoder and Kristen Mathew. Dean's list honors at Tufts University require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater.
