• Eastern Connecticut State University recently released its fall 2018 Dean's List for full-time and part-time students. Students from Southington are: Megan Albert, who majors in Mathematics; Victoria Aldieri, who majors in Finance; Haley Kolesnik, who majors in Physical Education; Joshua Krenke, who majors in Finance; Jake Kubisek, who majors in New Media Studies; Maya Litke, who majors in Psychology; Jessica Maloney, who majors in English; Jessica Monte, who majors in Early Childhood Education and Psychology; Morgan Mueller, who majors in Health Sciences; Jonathan Rappi, who majors in Biology; Joshua Richardson, who majors in Communication; Francesco Ricigliano, who majors in Political Science; Raquel Romano, who majors in Mathematics; Jhanvi Shah, who majors in Business Administration; and Michael Theriault, who majors in Secondary Education and History and Social Science. In order to be eligible for Dean's List, students must have a GPA of 3.50 or higher.

Ithaca College, Ithaca NY

• Ithaca College congratulates a pair of Southington students named to the Dean's List for the fall 2018 semester. They are Samantha Butlien, majoring in Writing for Film, Television, and Emerging Media, and Tessa Coleman, majoring in Musical Theatre.

University of Delaware, Newark DE

• Morgan Raymond of Plantsville and Jacob Anderson of Southington have been named to the University of Delaware Dean's List for the fall 2018 semester. To meet eligibility requirements for the Dean's List, a student must be enrolled full-time and earn a GPA of 3.33 or above (on a 4.0 scale) for the semester.

University of New Hampshire, Durham NH

• Four students from Southington have been named to the Dean's List at the University of New Hampshire for the fall 2018 semester. They are Jessica Lee, with Highest Honors; Nicole Cova, with Honors; Emily Gibney, with Highest Honors; and Katie Kelley, with High Honors. Students named to the Dean's List at the University of New Hampshire are students who have earned recognition through their superior scholastic performance during a semester enrolled in a full-time course load (12 or more graded credits). Highest honors are awarded to students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.85 or better out of a possible 4.0. Students with a 3.65 to 3.84 average are awarded high honors and students whose grade point average is 3.5 through 3.64 are awarded honors.
