Free program with pharmacist on June 14 at Mulberry Gardens provides info how medications can affect the bowels.

PLANTSVILLE - Constipation is a problem that nearly everyone occasionally encounters. Sometimes the problem is a side effect of medications. This topic will be discussed at the free program, “Constipation & Medications: What’s Stopping Me?,” on Thursday, June 14, 11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m., at Mulberry Gardens of Southington, 58 Mulberry St., in the Plantsville section of Southington.
