Coroner: Southington Bicyclist Died From a Head Injury
The medical examiner released a report on Friday's fatal bike crash.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — A local man died from head injuries as a result of a Friday bicycle accident on Savage Street, the Record-Journal reported, citing the the chief medical examiner’s office.
The cyclist was identified as Steven Zavatkay, 44, of Southington. According to police, Zavatkay was riding his bicycle around 2:37 a.m. on Savage Street on Friday.
