Coronavirus CT: Wood-N-Tap Restaurants To Temporarily Close
Wood-n-Tap restaurants and Que Whiskey Kitchen in Southington, are closing amid coronavirus social distancing recommendations.

SOUTHINGTON/VERNON, CT — The Hartford Restaurant Group has decided to temporarily close all nine of its Wood-n-Tap restaurants, along with Que Whiskey Kitchen in Southington, amid coronavirus social distancing recommendations.
"Today, we made a decision that we will immediately close all (restaurants) until the state deems it is safe for restaurant and bar businesses to reopen," a statement on the chain's Facebook pages said. "Our team has become increasingly concerned with the safety of our staff and guests, and that is more important to us than anything else. Any gain we have is not worth the risk to those still working for us or visiting our locations for pick-up. We look forward to the day we can announce our re-opening ... Trust we will be back and better than ever when that time comes! Wishing all of the people in all of our communities well. Thank you for your support."
Wood-n-Tap restaurants are located in Vernon, Southington, Farmington, Hamden, Hartford, Newington, Orange, Rocky Hill and Wallingford.
