Cough and cold medicines: what is safe?

BERLIN – Centers for Disease Control and Prevention statistics indicate that adults in the United States experience two to three colds per year and children get even more. A free program about cough and cold medicines will be held Wednesday, Nov. 7, 1 p.m., Berlin Senior Center, 33 Colonial Drive. Presenter will be Christina Polomoff, PharmD, BCACP, BCGP, clinical pharmacist at Hartford HealthCare Integrated Care Partners and assistant clinical professor at University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy.

Topics will include what cough and cold medications are safe and how to take them. Hartford HealthCare Senior Services is sponsoring.
