Cough and cold medicines: what is safe?

Hartford HealthCare pharmacists lead a free program Thurs., Jan. 31, 10a, Plainville Senior Center, 200 East St. RSVP to 855.442.4373.

PLAINVILLE – Centers for Disease Control and Prevention statistics indicate that adults in the United States experience two to three colds per year and children get even more. A free program about cough and cold medicines will be held Thursday, Jan. 31, 10 a.m., Plainville Senior Center, 200 East St. Topics will include what cough and cold medications are safe and how to take them. Hartford HealthCare Senior Services is sponsoring.

Presenters will be Sean Jeffery, PharmD, CGP, FASCP, FNAP, AGSF, and Christina Polomoff, PharmD, BCACP, BCGP, both pharmacists at Hartford HealthCare Integrated Care Partners and clinical professors at University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy. Hartford HealthCare Senior Services is sponsoring the program.
