Crash Causes Traffic Mess On I-84 In Southington

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A two-vehicle crash in Southington Friday morning has tied up traffic on Interstate 84, according to the state Department of Transportation.

The DOT reports the accident was on I-84 West between exits 31 and 30, resulting in the closure of the left lane.

The accident was first reported at 9:31 a.m., and it is "unknown" when the scene will be cleared.
