Crash Cleared On I-84 In Southington: UPDATE

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A two-vehicle crash on Interstate 84 in Southington Tuesday afternoon caused traffic problems for motorists, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it is now cleared.

The DOT reports the accident was on I-84 West between exits 29 and 27, resulting in the closure of the right lane.

The accident was first reported at 1:26 p.m., and it is now no longer listed on the DOT's incident report.
