NEWINGTON – Arthritis is a painful condition that is unfortunately experienced by many people. Symptoms can include swelling, pain, stiffness and decreased range of motion. However, with more than 100 types, it is not well understood. “Dinner with the Doc: Arthritis and Aging” will be held Tuesday, May 8, 5:30 p.m., at Jefferson House, 1 John H. Stewart Drive. This free program with John Magaldi, MD, rheumatologist, will cover types, causes, management and treatment of arthritis. Jefferson House is sponsoring.
