SOUTHINGTON – Many people experience debilitating back and sciatic pain that limits what they do in life. The free program, Dinner with the Doc: Tired of Living with Back and Sciatic Pain?, will be held Tuesday, Sept. 26, 5 p.m., at Southington Care Center, 45 Meriden Ave. Discussion will include conditions that cause back pain like spinal stenosis and advanced surgical options including robotic spine surgery.

Hartford HealthCare is first in the state to offer the Mazor X System for robotic spine surgery – sophisticated technology that helps surgeons gain more precision and accuracy. Greater accuracy means greater safety and better outcomes for patients. Sean Esmende, MD, orthopedic spine surgeon, will present the program. Southington Care Center is sponsoring the program.

A light complimentary dinner will be served. Seating is limited and reservations must be made. To RSVP, call 1.855.HHC.HERE/ 1.855.442.4373.
