​Dinner with the Doc: tremor disorders of aging

It is not uncommon for shaking to become more prominent with aging, sometimes even disrupting common activities. A free Dinner with the Doc program about tremor disorders of aging will be held Tuesday, Feb. 28, 5 p.m., at Southington Care Center, 45 Meriden Ave. A light complimentary dinner will be served.

Neurologist Duarte Machado, MD, will discuss how to diagnose potential tremor disorders, options in management as well as surgical interventions. Muchado, a board-certified neurologist with Hartford HealthCare Movement Disorders Center, specializes in ataxia, choreas, dementia, dystonia, gait disorders, Huntington’s disease, movement disorders, neurosciences, Parkinson's disease, Tourette’s Syndrome, and more.
