Dinner with the Doc: Understanding Heart Disease

NEW BRITAIN – Cardiovascular disease refers to a variety of conditions including heart failure, heart attack, stroke, arrhythmia and more, according to the American Heart Association. Information about the heart will be offered at the free Dinner with the Doc: Understanding Heart Disease on Thursday, Feb. 20, 5 to 7 p.m., at Arbor Rose at Jerome Home, 975 Corbin Ave. Presenter Andre Elias Ghantous, MD, FACC, chief of cardiology, Central Region, Hartford HealthCare, will present on topics including signs and symptoms, latest treatments and prevention methods. Arbor Rose at Jerome Home is sponsoring.
