Dinner with the Expert focuses on benefits of outpatient physical therapy and exercise

NEW BRITAIN – Outpatient physical therapy, exercise and activity can be effective in preventing injury and disease as people age. The free program, “How Outpatient Physical Therapy and Exercise Can Help You to Stay Healthy and Strong,” will be held Tuesday, Nov. 1, 5 to 7 p.m., at Arbor Rose at Jerome Home, 975 Corbin Ave.
This Dinner with the Expert will be facilitated by Laurel Whalen, RPT, CLT, outpatient physical therapist at Jerome Home, and Robert Schmelzer, exercise physiologist and program manager GoodLife Fitness.
