Dog Fight at Southington Hotel Leads to Charge Against Bristol Man
Two dogs clashed at the hotel, police said.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A dog fight at a local hotel resulted in a Bristol man being slapped with a criminal charge, police said.
Alexander Bareska, 60, of Bristol, was cited for having a vicious dog after the Oct. 18 incident at the Residence Inn, police said. He is due in court on Oct. 28, police said.
A dog belonging to Bareska bit another dog while they were both staying at the Residence Inn.

The dog bit another dog on the ear in the hallway after darting from a room, according to a police report. The second dog was taken to a local animal hospital for stitches, police said.
The hotel is located at 778 West St.
