Domestic Violence Charges Thrown At Southington Man
He was heaving things at a woman, police said.

SOUTHINGTON, CT - A local man is facing domestic violence charges after throwing stuff at a woman, police said.
On Monday at 3:30 p..m., Michael Woodcock, 24, of Taunton St., Southington, CT. was arrested via a warrant at his residence, police said.
He was transported to the Southington Police Department, where he was processed and charged with secpmjnd-degree assault and disorderly conduct, police said.

He was held on a $100,000 court-set bond and given and was to appear before a judge on Tuesday, police said.
The warrant stems from a domestic violence investigation, police said. On Monday, the warrant said, Woodcock and the victim were involved in a verbal argument.

During the course of the argument Woodcock threw an object, believed to be a set of keys, at the victim’s face, according to the warrant.
The Victim put up her hands to protect her face and when she lowered her hands, Woodcock allegedly threw a ceramic bowl at her, striking her in the mouth, according to the warrant.
As a result of being struck by the bowl, the woman suffered a broken front tooth and laceration to the lip. The victim reported facial pain and planned to seek medical attention on her own, police said.
