Dump Your Christmas Tree With Southington Land Trust

Starting this weekend, the Southington Land Trust will take away your tree for a $15 donation and turn it into mulch.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — With Christmas further and further in the rearview mirror, 'tis the season for dumping that Christmas tree.

With that in mind, the Southington Land Trust is helping out folks wondering what to do with their old trees ... and dumping those trees with the trust could do a whole lot of good.

For a mere $15 donation, land trust volunteers on three Saturdays in January will pick up your tree and then recycle it into mulch.
