Easter Egg Hunt Planned At Southington Museum

SOUTHINGTON, CT — The town's local history museum is hosting its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, with local children invited to participate.

The annual holiday tradition will take place at the Barnes Museum, 85 N. Main St., Southington, from 10 a.m. to noon.

At 10 a.m., the museum will host a hunt for children ages 6 and below.

Then, at 11 a.m., the museum will host another hunt for children older than 6

Participating families are asked to bring a basket "to collect as many eggs as you can," according to an announcement from the museum.

In addition to the egg hunt, families will also be able to take pictures with the Easter Bunny and everything is absolutely free, according to museum officials.
