NEW BRITAIN - As people age, their care needs often increase, and those can be costly. A free program about extended healthcare planning in retirement will be held Thursday, Oct. 6, 4 to 5:30 p.m., at Arbor Rose, 975 Corbin Ave. Paul Collard and Dean Gwazda from New York Life Insurance Company will discuss the myths surrounding long-term care policies and how vital it may be to planning for the future.
