• (R) Trump and Pence - 12,383, 53.10%
• (L) Johnson and Weld - 743, 3.19%
• (G) Stein and Baraka - 275, 1.18%

U.S. Senate

• (D) Richard Blumenthal - 11,369, 49.65%
• (R) Dan Carter - 9,660, 42.19%
• (WF) Richard Blumenthal - 1,476, 6.45%
• (L) Richard Lion - 220, 0.96%
• (G) Jeffery Russell - 174 0.76%

U.S. Rep District 1

• (D) John B. Larson - 9,874, 44.38%
• (R) Matthew M. Corey - 10,938, 49.17%

Registered voters in Southington were out early on Tuesday for the 2016 election.

Voting was scheduled for 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Southington police said the lines were moving smoothly throughout the day.
