Empty Shelves Worry Southington Food Pantry Officials
Southington Community Services says it is low on food for the food insecure and a food drive at a local supermarket Saturday should help.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — The town's social services department is concerned about food scarcity at Southington's food pantry.
Southington Community Services Friday said its "shelves are almost empty" and it posted images showing those empty shelves.
The food pantry, 91 Norton St., is the place where folks and families in need can get much-needed food supplies should hard times arise and food insecurity take hold.
