Fire Station In Southington To Temporarily Close For Renovations

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A local fire station will be out of commission for about a month because of renovations.

The Southington Fire Department's Station 5, located at 72 River St., will be closed for the renovations beginning July 29. It is slated to reopen on Sept. 1, fire officials said.

Fire department personnel and equipment will be temporarily relocated to Station 3 on Clark St.
