First Baptist Church hosts Spud Night on May 5

Baked potatoes, soup, dessert are a favorite at First Baptist's Spud Night. Stop by 5:30-7 p.m.!

SOUTHINGTON – First Baptist Church of Southington, 581 Meriden Ave., will present its annual Spud Night and Silent Auction on Saturday, May 5, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Spud Night features delicious baked potatoes with a choice of any or all seven toppings ("Garbage Can Special"), or a bowl of homemade soup as well as dessert and beverages. The silent auction features theme baskets, gift cards and donated services. Proceeds will benefit the church's local service opportunities.
