Former Host Hits ESPN With Harassment Suit
A former ESPN Host has file a lawsuit against the media giant.

BRISTOL, CT — Former ESPN host Adrienne Lawrence has filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against the media giant, accusing the company of failing to address her complaints against a SportsCenter anchor, according to a post by the Connecticut Law Tribune.
Lawrence claims that, soon after she arrived at ESPN in August 2015, she was merely “fresh meat” and was soon being harassed by SportsCenter anchor John Buccigross, according to the post.
Lawrence, a legal analyst and sports anchor, claims she was fired in August 2017 for complaining about the alleged abuse.

Supposed inappropriate text messages and images were investigated by the Boston Globe in December.
In her suit Lawrence, now an anchor at Madden NFL, claims the Bristol-based sports network “enjoys a long history of sexually harassing and mistreating women that is well documented and incontrovertible.”

According to a Sports Illustrated story, Buccigross sent her messages that referred to her as "Dollface" and "Dreamgirl."
Lawrence is now a Madden 18 sideline reporter.
She contends in the suit that ESPN retaliated against her for speaking up.
