SOUTHINGTON, CT — A Bristol-based regional benevolence foundation has grant funding available for area nonprofits, including those in Southington.

The Main Street Community Foundation’s general grant cycle is now open and the Foundation welcomes nonprofit organizations serving Bristol, Burlington, Plainville, Plymouth, Southington, and Wolcott to apply for grants.

The deadline to apply is March 28.

Grant requests should fall within the following program areas: basic needs, access to opportunity, and vibrant communities, according to the foundation.

They must also benefit residents of Bristol, Burlington, Plainville, Plymouth, Southington and/or
Wolcott.
