SOUTHINGTON - Laughter Yoga, practiced around the world, promotes a positive attitude and lifts spirits, making it easier to cope with life’s challenges. An opportunity to laugh to health and wellness began on Nov. 15 at the new Southington Community Cultural Arts Center on the corner of Main Street and Berlin Avenue. Sessions will be held Tuesdays at 11 a.m.

2 Ladies Laughing, Leslie Cotton and Elaine Hobart, certified Laughter Yoga leaders, are leading the free sessions, designed to relieve stress, overcome depression and connect people. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing; no special equipment is necessary. The moves are gentle and can accommodate any person’s ability and range of motion.
