SOUTHINGTON, CT — Looking for a low-cost family activity for the weekend?

The Southington Public Library, located at 255 Main St., Southington, has passes for free or reduced admission to local museums/attractions in the area.

Those include The Children's Museum in West Hartford, the Roaring Brook Nature Center in Canton, the Lutz Children's Museum in Manchester, and Lessard Lanes bowling alley in Plainville.

Reduced coupons (20 percent off general admission for up to four people or 10 percent of membership) for the Connecticut Science Center in Hartford are also available at the reference desk.
