Free program explores depression and anxiety in Parkinson's

NEW BRITAIN - Anxiety and depression are common problems in people who have Parkinson’s disease, significantly impacting cognitive, motor and social function. A free Lunch & Learn program about this topic will be held Thursday, July 12, noon to 1 p.m., at The Hospital of Central Connecticut, New Britain campus, 100 Grand St., Lecture Room 2. Presenter will be Joy Antonelle de Marcaida, MD, neurologist and director, Movement Disorders Center, Hartford Hospital. Hartford HealthCare Center for Healthy Aging is sponsoring.
