Free Warm Clothing Shop To Open Saturday In Southington
Southington Community Services 'Operation Stay Warm' has stocked its shop — which opens Oct. 5 — full of warm clothing for the winter.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — Those who need warm winter clothing but lack the finances to get them are invited to Southington Community Services' "Winter Clothing Shop" starting Saturday, Oct. 5.
The town agency's "shop," a byproduct of the recent "Operation Stay Warm" winter clothing drive, is located at the Plantsville Congregational Church (lower level), 109 Church St., Plantsville.
It will be open at various hours from Saturday, Oct. 5, to Thursday, Oct. 31.

Generally, the shop — where folks can pick out free winter clothing such as coats, hats, scarves, mittens/gloves, etc. — will be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays during that period.
