Friday Turns Into Snow Day For Southington Students

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Friday will be a snow day for students in Southington.

Classes have been called off amid a snowy forecast.

Snow is supposed to arrive during the overnight period and could be falling at a rate of 1-inch per hour between 5 and 9 a.m. Friday, according to the National Weather Service.

There is a 45 percent chance for totals of 3 to 6 inches, according t0 the forecast.
