Funded Certified Nursing Assistant program accepting applicants

Hartford HealthCare Senior Services is offering a grant-funded certified nursing assistant program. Applications being accepted now.

Hartford HealthCare Senior Services is accepting applications for a grant-funded 10-week program for those who are seeking a career as a certified nursing assistant. This session is set to begin Monday, Aug. 20. The grant funds tuition, books, scrubs, testing and the Connecticut Certified Nurses Aide Exam. Deadline to apply for this session is Friday, June 15.

The program is the perfect opportunity for those seeking to start a career in healthcare or change careers. Applicants must be 18 or older to apply and must have their own transportation. Classroom education is held in Southington and clinical training is held in Newington and New Britain. Classes and clinical will be held evenings and weekends.

Acceptance into the program will be contingent upon a background check, fingerprinting, physical, reference check and the application.
