Garage, Brush Fires Keep Crews Busy In Southington
Monday was a busy day for Southingrton firefighters with a pair of incidents.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — Firefighters responded to a pair of incidents on both ends of the morning on Monday.
Fire crews went tro Wonx Spring Road at 01:03 a.m. for a reported garage fire. The first-arriving units had to "aggressively" attack the bulk of the fire on order to prevent it from spreading to the adjacent home, fire officials said.
No injuries were reported.

At about 11:15 a.m., fire units responded to at a brush fire off Interstate-691 eastbound between Exits 3 and 4.
