Get Ready To Cool Off In Southington
The town this week announced the opening day schedules for public pools and the town's splash pad.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — With the days winding down toward the start of summer, the town this week has unveiled when local swimming holes and cool-down spots will reopen.
• The pool and splash pad at Veterans Memorial Park (Woodruff Street, Southington) are scheduled to open for the season on Saturday, June 8.

• The pools at Recreation Park (Maxwell Noble Drive, Plantsville) are scheduled to open for the season on Saturday, June 15.
Local officials said those dates are subject to change due to maintenance, health/safety issues, or inclement weather.
