A Plainville man this week turned a $5 game purchased at a Southington store into a massive, life-altering financial win.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — A Plainville man's quick stop at a Southington convenience store on Wednesday ended with an extremely heavy wallet.
According to the Connecticut Lottery Corp., the man won a whopping $255,829 with a simple Fast Play $5 Moneybags Progressive ticket.
If you deduct the cost of the lottery ticket, the man's profit was pretty good — $255,824.
