SOUTHINGTON, CT — The Girl Scouts of Connecticut are looking to create a new Brownie troop in town for second- and third-grade girls, with a special information meeting slated for next week.

Parents and children are invited to Kelley Elementary School in Southington, 501 Ridgewood Road, to learn what Girl Scouts have to offer youngsters.

The informational session is at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 7.
