GoodLife Fitness presents tips to preventing falls in winter

SOUTHINGTON – Avoiding slips and falls isn’t always easy. However, if a fall is inevitable, knowing how to fall safely - backwards and forwards – can reduce the risk or lessen the severity of injury. A free program, “Staying on Your Feet on the Ice and Snow,” will be held Wednesday, Nov. 13, 1:30 p.m., at Calendar House, 388 Pleasant St. Presenter will be Lisa Murawksi, exercise physiologist, GoodLife Fitness at Southington Care Center. GoodLife Fitness is sponsoring.
