GoodLife Functional Fitness provides motivation for older adults to exercise

WETHERSFIELD – With an eye to motivating older adults to exercise for better health, the GoodLife Functional Fitness group is being offered at Wethersfield Senior Center beginning Sept. 19. The 12-week series will be held Mondays and Wednesdays, 1:30 to 2:15 p.m., at the senior center, located at 30 Greenfield St. This Functional Fitness series costs $30.

GoodLife Fitness, a Hartford HealthCare Senior Services program, is designed to help participants build strength and improve body control to move with better balance. Exercise physiologists will help each person to achieve a healthy and fit lifestyle that will last over the long-term, maintaining the highest level of independence and health.
