Hartford HealthCare at Home Hospice offers bereavement groups

Hartford HealthCare at Home Hospice Care is offering two free monthly bereavement support groups at each of five locations, including Meriden. The October sessions are:
Glastonbury – First and third Wednesdays of the month (Oct. 4 and 18), 2 to 3:30 p.m., Riverfront Community Center, 300 Welles St., with facilitator Bill Pilkington, supervisor for pastoral and bereavement services.
Hartford – Second and fourth Mondays of the month (Oct. 9 and 23), 1 to 2:15 p.m., Hartford Hospital, 85 Jefferson St., Room 116, with facilitator Andrea Burr, pastoral counselor.

Mansfield – First and third Thursdays of the month (Oct. 5 and 19), 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Mansfield Center, 34 Ledgebrook Drive, with facilitator Ivan Bilyk, pastoral counselor supervisor.
Meriden – Second and fourth Tuesdays of the month (Oct. 10 and 24), 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., MidState Medical Center, 435 Lewis Ave., with Doreen Bottone, MidState chaplain.

Norwich – Second and fourth Wednesdays of the month (Oct. 11 and 25), 2 to 3:30 p.m., William W. Backus Hospital, 326 Washington St., with Thomas Flynn, SC, pastoral counselor.
